As the CAE Engineer (Dynamics), you will be responsible for:
Build, refine, and apply simulation models to support vehicle design and dynamic performance development.
Analyze simulation results to provide data-driven insights into vehicle handling, ride quality, and structural durability.
Participate in vehicle dynamics tuning using a driving simulator to evaluate and enhance performance characteristics.
Interpret and correlate real-world test data with simulation outputs to validate models and improve predictive accuracy.
Contribute to cross-functional engineering teams focused on optimizing suspension systems and overall dynamic behavior of vehicles.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry with a strong background in vehicle dynamics, suspension systems, or development engineering.
Proficiency in multibody simulation tools such as ADAMS, CarMaker, CarSim, or similar platforms.
Solid working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink; exposure to programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++ is a plus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent industry experience.
Prior involvement in driving simulator environments (Driver-in-the-Loop/DIL) and/or motorsports is highly desirable.
Familiarity with SAE standards or related technical knowledge is an advantage.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $109,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
