Summary Generated by Built In

We are seeking a detail-oriented Datacenter CAD Specialist to develop accurate, production-ready drawings and technical documentation for skid-mounted and station-based natural gas systems supporting critical data center power infrastructure. This role translates engineering concepts, specifications, sketches, and markups into coordinated CAD deliverables that promote safe and reliable gas supply, accurate flow measurement, gas-quality monitoring, equipment protection, energy measurement, and continuous operational visibility.

Responsibilities
  • Create and revise 2D CAD drawings and, where applicable, 3D models for natural gas skids, metering assemblies, pressure-regulation systems, and associated station layouts.
  • Prepare general arrangements, equipment layouts, piping details, isometrics, fabrication drawings, bills of materials, and drawing packages from engineering inputs.
  • Interpret and incorporate requirements for gas measurement, pressure regulation, gas quality, gas detection, flow computing, and pressure and temperature instrumentation.
  • Coordinate the placement and interfaces of flow meters, regulators, safety valves, analyzers, detectors, transmitters, piping, valves, supports, and related equipment.
  • Review designs for dimensional accuracy, constructability, maintainability, equipment access, safe operation, and conformance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, process, electrical, instrumentation and controls, manufacturing, project management, and field teams to resolve design issues.
  • Maintain drawing templates, symbols, libraries, file structures, revision histories, and document-control practices in accordance with company and customer standards.
  • Perform drawing checks, incorporate redlines and approved changes, and support design reviews through final issue and as-built documentation.
  • Support multiple projects and priorities while meeting quality, schedule, and deliverable commitments.
QualificationsProduct and System Scope
