As an Cabinet Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high‑quality electrical control cabinet solutions that meet both industry standards and customer expectations.
As a Cabinet Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Creating electrical control cabinet designs with complete documentation aligned with customer and industry requirements.
Using CAD tools such as EPLAN, MicroStation, and other design software to create, revise, and review project drawings (system interconnects, power wiring, layouts, loop diagrams, block diagrams, etc.).
Ensuring compliance with customer specifications and applicable hardware/cabinet standards.
Applying knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.
Following quality procedures and standard design processes.
Developing detailed bills of material (BOM) for electrical panels.
Specifying components and preparing ordering drawings; updating the Project Engineer with job status and completion estimates.
Incorporating new design techniques to improve efficiency and accuracy in cabinet engineering.
Delivering defect‑free designs within defined timelines.
Applying strong understanding of electrical engineering concepts required for cabinet design.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution (OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in engineering, IT, scientific, or technical roles).
Have strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to structure and write technical documentation.
Have a demonstrative experience in document layout, formatting, and editing.
Have knowledge of rotating machinery operations and control systems.
Have possess a valid driver’s license and passport.
Have to be willing and able to travel for site surveys as required.
Have to be a self‑starter capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
