CA - Webflow Developer - 147

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Webflow Developer to support an ongoing initiative to design and develop ADA-compliant landing pages for Carnival. This role requires deep experience in customizing Webflow beyond native limitations using JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and external libraries like Swiper.js. The ideal candidate will be capable of building reusable, accessible components while working closely with design and ADA compliance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom landing pages using Webflow, based on Figma designs and CMS needs
• Implement and maintain strict ADA compliance standards (e.g., 400% zoom, tab navigation, screen reader support, correct DOM structure, visible focus on all interactive elements)
• Use JavaScript and external libraries (e.g., Swiper.js) to overcome Webflow’s native limitations
• Develop modular, reusable components with accessibility built-in
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Carnival’s ADA team to review and resolve accessibility audits
• Integrate CMS functionality and maintain a scalable content structure
• Provide ongoing maintenance and updates based on compliance feedback

• Proven experience with Webflow development and design
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and browser-based DOM manipulation
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for screen readers, keyboard navigation, and responsive interactions
• Experience integrating with CMS platforms within Webflow
• Familiarity with tools like Swiper.js or similar libraries for accessible sliders and carousels
• Ability to interpret and act on ADA audit reports, even when implementation guidance is limited

• Experience building a reusable component library within Webflow
• Knowledge of building microsites and complex landing page systems
• Familiarity with embedding accessibility logic into custom Webflow components
• Background in working with corporate stakeholders in regulated industries
