Sunayu, LLC has an exciting new opportunity to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). We are looking for professionals to help us manage and modernize the IT infrastructure that drives world-class language instruction for the DLIFLC’s diverse academic community.

The person in this position upholds, defends, coaches and mentors sound agile practices and values. They are responsible for eliciting and documenting user requirements and user stories in real time in an Agile/DevOps environment. They are responsible for establishing the minimum viable product, grooming the backlog, and Change Management.

Position Requirements

Experience:

• 4 years+ of successful agile planning and facilitating the complete life cycle of large- scale projects, with competing availability, priorities, and multiple stakeholder
• 4 years' experience eliciting and documenting user requirements
•  Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, and Automated Testing.

Education:

• Associate’s degree (AA/AS) in Information Technology or related field OR 2‑year technical diploma OR 2+ years of directly relevant hands‑on IT support experience. Bachelor’s preferred, not required.

Certifications:

• IAT Level I (A+ CE or Network+ CE) — required. IAT Level II (Security+, CySA+, or SSCP) — preferred for shift leads/escalation or when privileged admin access is assigned. Vendor OS cert (Windows or Apple) preferred for imaging/break‑fix.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. The ability to move files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary would be required.

Pay Rate

Salary range considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
