Project – the aim you’ll have
Join a media organization that builds its products based on data and modern technologies. We are looking for a Data Business Analyst who will help bridge business needs with the capabilities of our data and analytics teams.
You will work alongside a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Data Engineers and BI Specialists, contributing to the development of analytical and reporting solutions used across the organization. If you enjoy analyzing business processes and data, translating requirements into actionable solutions and shaping data-driven products in an agile environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Position – how you’ll contribute
- Capture, analyze, and document business requirements related to data, reporting and analytics initiatives
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria
- Support the Product Owner in backlog management, prioritization and feature clarification
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers and business stakeholders to define data requirements, KPI definitions and reporting needs
- Analyze source systems, data flows and reporting processes to identify business and data requirements
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and requirement clarification meetings
- Contribute to functional specifications, process flows, data mapping and solution documentation
Expectations – the experience you need
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Data, BI, Analytics or Data Warehouse projects
- Strong ability to gather, analyze and document business requirements
- Experience working with Product Owners, Developers, Data Engineers, BI teams and business stakeholders
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively across technical and business teams
- Experience analyzing database structures and understanding data relationships
- Knowledge of database objects such as tables, views, procedures and functions
- Understanding of data architectures, including OLTP, OLAP, Data Warehouse, and Data Lake concepts
- Practical knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation
- Experience working with Power BI reports and dashboards
- Knowledge of UML and BPMN

- Experience using modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect, Visual Paradigm, draw.io, or similar
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple parallel requests/priorities
- Experience working with Snowflake
