Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst to join our team! In this role you will become a member of the Parsons’ TEAMS NEXT support staff with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes to include cost, schedule, and performance of contracts.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding

  • Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists

  • Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration

  • Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners

  • Develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership

  • Support and interact on a daily basis with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand)

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelors Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or Master Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines

  • Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements

  • Capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS

  • Experience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space based program and/or a DoD

  • Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
