About This Job
The Sr. Commercial Quality Control AI Automation Associate is a member of the Commercial Quality Control (CQC) program, dedicated to building and operating automated and AI-assisted quality control reviews across Commercial Lending. This role helps transform manual review checklists and review programs into automated and AI-augmented review activity using approved tooling. It combines business process analysis and quality control review execution, applying automation and AI to extend review coverage, reinforce operational consistency, and streamline manual review effort while maintaining the quality standards each program requires.Responsibilities:
- Conduct business process analysis on commercial lending processes to understand how they operate and where quality control review provides value, and document that analysis to support review program design
- Support the design and development of new CQC review programs, translating process analysis into review criteria, checklists, and the review logic that executes against them
- Analyze CQC manual review programs and checklists to identify candidates for automation and AI augmentation, and document the process logic required to transition them
- Build automated and AI-assisted review workflows using approved tooling, including Claude, Claude Skills, Claude Code, and n8n
- Develop, maintain, and version Claude Skills and automation flows that support review execution against defined program standards
- Translate review checklists and program criteria into structured, reproducible automated review logic, preserving the observation criteria defined at the program level
- Execute AI-assisted reviews under the applicable human review posture, recording outcomes and observations through the program system of record
- Validate automated and AI-assisted workflows against representative cases before they take effect, and document validation results
- Maintain technical and process documentation for the automations and skills the role builds, supporting handoff, review, and continuity
- Monitor automation and agent performance, and surface proposed adjustments to CQC leadership for program calibration
- Support the transition of mature automations to operational partners where directed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, audit, operations, or a related review or analytical function
- Proven business process analysis skills, including breaking down a process into its component steps, inputs, and decision points and documenting that logic clearly
- Working proficiency with AI tools for structured work, including prompt development and applying AI to analytical and review tasks
- Experience building or maintaining automations, workflows, or scripted processes using a low-code or no-code automation platform, or comparable technical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate written criteria into precise, reproducible logic
- Clear written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently against defined program standards and manage multiple workstreams
