About the role

Are you curious, detail-focused, and motivated by solving problems that make a real difference for customers? 

We have an exciting opportunity for a C&I Data Services Administrator to join our collaborative team and help ensure our commercial and industrial customers receive accurate, timely, and reliable metering data for both Electricity and Gas across NZ. 

What success looks like in the role: 

  • Investigating and resolving data, service, and customer queries in a timely and accurate way. 
  • Supporting the delivery of reliable metering data services and helping meet customer commitments. 
  • Identifying, processing, and validating missing data to support accurate reporting and billing outcomes. 
  • Working closely with field technicians to support meter configuration, fault resolution, site setup, and load verification. 
  • Helping customers with data enquiries, usage comparisons, estimates, and data file deliveries. 
  • Maintaining accurate customer, site, and equipment records across systems. 
  • Creating and updating reports that provide visibility of data quality, service performance, and operational outcomes. 

What you’ll bring 

You’ll be someone who enjoys working with data, learning new systems, and getting to the root cause of an issue. You’ll be comfortable balancing accuracy, customer service, and problem-solving in a busy operational environment. You’ll also ideally bring: 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset. 
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach. 
  • Confidence learning new systems, databases, and technical processes. 
  • Experience using Excel and working with data. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
