Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled C/C++ Embedded Engineer to take ownership of critical software components in our devices. This role involves maintaining existing products through comprehensive debugging and bug fixing, as well as developing innovative new features.
Responsibilities and Duties- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality embedded software in C/C++ for camera-based security devices.
- Debug and resolve complex software, hardware, and network connectivity issues across the entire software stack.
- Develop new features and improve existing codebases for the product line.
- Optimize software performance for resource-constrained embedded environments.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to team members.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop comprehensive testing strategies.
- Document software designs, APIs, libraries, and troubleshooting procedures.
- 5 + years C proficiency (embedded, bare-metal, and RTOS environments).
- 3 + years of experience in embedded development.
- Understanding of multi-core architectures and inter-core communication (IPC, mailbox, shared memory).
- Proficiency in the full SDLC, including professional engineering practices like Git, CMake, code reviews, and continuous integration.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and debugging tools (Hardware debugging via JTAG).
- Experience with protocols: UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO.
- Excellent communication skills for technical discussions and documentation, with a collaborative mindset for cross-functional team environments.
- CI/CD (Jenkins) and static analysis (Coverity).
- Good written and spoken English.

- At least 5 years of experience with C in embedded, bare-metal, and RTOS environments
- At least 3 years of embedded software development experience
