Job Description:
The Ambient Computing & Robotics team is creating applications for the era where computer vision, AI-based cognition, and autonomous electro-mechanicals pervade the workplace. Part of the AI stack uses supervised learning models requiring content to be annotated. A primitive tool has been developed and it now needs to be expanded to include features such as tracking, detection, deeper annotations and so on. Our team is also investing in measuring the quality of the models and in automating the reporting of the results. To help us accelerate in these two initiatives we are looking for a strong software design engineer with a passion for computer vision and AI. This is an amazing opportunity to work closely with applied scientists and engineers in one of the most exciting field in the industry: computer vision AI.
The ideal candidate has strong object oriented design and C++ coding skills. The candidate has worked on projects and with technologies that involve measuring and reporting information (e.g. SQL, HTML, etc.)
Successful candidates must have:
- 2+ years of industry experience designing and developing software in C++.
- 1 year of HTML/JavaScript/CSS
- Experience with OpenCV and SQL are a definite plus
- Passion for Machine learning
- Passion for quality with experience designing and implementing automated tests, including unit tests and integration tests.
- Effective communication skills.
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- experience working with SQL and reporting services
- experience working on build systems like MS Build
Candidate Requirements:
- 3+ years of industry experience is required
- The best candidates will come in with multiple years of C++, experience working in Linux as well. Along with that, the best candidates will also have OpenCV and SQL.
- Designing and development in C++ (will need to demonstrate coding ability)
- Linux experience
- HTML / JavaScript
