We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team, with experience in C++ and power management, capable of managing projects and tasks independently and responsibly. This role requires close collaboration with the team and active participation in on-site activities in Bolzano, 2 weeks/month.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, improve and maintain the overall charging functions and the associated power management functions, such as power sharing, cooling/derating, grid control, battery storage systems, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) and depot charging
- Develop and extend the charging interface between EVs, EVSEs and the grid in line with new standards and market trends (MCS, bi-directional power transfer and load balancing)
- Deliver the best power sharing functionalities on the market
- Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of field issues
- Accompany interoperability and conformance tests
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Previous relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency in C++ or Python
- Proficient with version control systems (GIT) and build environments
- Knowledge of control theory, energy systems, or real-time optimization
- Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink
- Familiarity with energy and charging standards is a plus
- Autonomous and solution-oriented work style, as well as analytical thinking
- Enthusiasm, good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Fluent in English, nice to have German and/or Italian
