  • Services procurement associated with direct cost (projects)
  • Check PR Request and review quotations and issue PO
  • Transmit and confirm orders to suppliers for materials, parts and services
  • Effective & Efficient procurement solutions and processes to minimise transactional processing and leverage available technologies to drive automation
  • Develop and drive the implementation of supplier performance management targets
  • Managing supplier performance against contracted cost and service levels including the administration of any claims on our suppliers
  • Identify opportunities to reduce total cost through off book inventory, in-source Vs outsource supply chain options
  • Establish new processes and systems for effective procurement

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Must have an Engineering Degree (preferred), Science, or similar. Business degree or Masters in Business Administration is a plus.
  • Formal qualifications in supply management or procurement
  • Proven success in negotiating major contracts with suppliers
  • Proven track record in procurement / supply management (ideally in a fabrication or heavy engineering environment)
  • 4 years+ relevant operational and industrial experience
