Job Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
The buyer Electronics will work within the Purchasing team focusing on consumer electronics and technical components combining analytical ability, supplier management, and negotiation skills. The identified candidate operates with a hands on approach handling orders, inventory monitoring, and procurement, optimizing delivery times and costs, with attention to the technical specifications of the products.
Responsibilities:
  • Full management of the purchasing process for electronic components (ICs, semiconductors, sensors, modules, and accessories).
  • Analysis of technical requirements in collaboration with R&D and production, ensuring compatibility and compliance with specifications.
  • Selection and evaluation of national and international suppliers, negotiating prices, terms, and supply conditions.
  • Order and inventory monitoring, management of logistics issues and timely replacements.
  • Cost and lead time optimization through continuous evaluation of alternative sourcing.
  • Support in defining framework contracts and supply agreements.

Qualification:
  • Technical diploma or Engineering degree
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic components and market trends.
  • Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
  • Operational control of the supply chain: orders, tracking, scrap and returns management.
  • Knowledge of ERP and purchasing management systems (SAP, Oracle, TeamSystem, or similar).
  • Data analysis and reporting to support strategic procurement decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, strong problem-solving skills, and results orientation.
  • Fluent Italian and English knowledge.
  • Pragmatic and hands-on: prefers quick and effective operational solutions.
  • Clear communication with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Ability to work in dynamic and technologically complex environments.
  • Strong attention to technical details and production costs.
  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing in medium/large manufacturing environments.
  • Previous experience in companies involved in PCBA board production will be a plus
