About the Role

Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) is a global leader in impact investing, financial innovation, and gender-focused capital markets. We connect investors, corporations, and institutions with opportunities that create financial returns and measurable social impact. As we expand, we are seeking a Business Value Consultant, to join us full-time, to help unlock new revenue channels and enhance our client engagement strategy across all business units.

The position can be a fully remote role within Asia.  

Key Responsibilities:

The Business Value Consultant will work closely with IIX’s business units, clients, and partners to drive revenue generation and enhance our client-centric strategy.

1. Client-Centric Growth Strategy

  • Conduct a deep dive into IIX’s client base (investors, corporates, development agencies, and governments).
  • Map client needs and pain points to identify new revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Develop customized engagement models to strengthen relationships and increase client retention.

2. Revenue Generation & Business Model Innovation

  • Identify new revenue streams across IIX’s products and services, including:

                - Capital Markets (IIX Women’s Livelihood Bond Series, Orange Bonds)                 

                - Impact Assessment & Data (Orange Index, Impact Verification Services)

                - Advisory & Training (Custom solutions for institutional clients and government bodies)

                - IIX Growth & Acceleration Programs (Opportunities to monetize our impact ecosystem)

  • Design and test new monetization strategies for existing products and services.
  • Develop pricing models and partnership structures for long-term revenue sustainability.

3. Enhancing Cross-Business Synergies

  • Work across business units to align revenue opportunities with market demand.
  • Identify cross-selling and bundling opportunities between IIX’s investment, data, and advisory services.
  • Develop strategic collaborations with institutional partners to scale impact.

4. Sales & Business Development Optimization

  • Assess existing sales pipelines and business development processes.
  • Improve lead generation, client acquisition, and conversion strategies.
  • Design a structured sales playbook for engaging key client segments (corporates, investors, governments, and development finance institutions).

5. Deliverables & Business Value Roadmap

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to benchmark IIX’s offerings.
  • Present a Revenue Growth Playbook outlining key strategies and action plans.
  • Implement 2-3 quick-win revenue initiatives to validate market demand.
  • Provide a detailed client engagement strategy to improve retention and expansion.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    The success of this role will be measured by:

    • New Revenue Opportunities Identified (Minimum 3 viable business cases presented)
    • Client Engagement Strategy Developed (Roadmap for client-centric growth)
    • New Sales & Monetization Models Proposed (At least 2 pricing models tested)
    • Quick-Win Revenue Initiatives Piloted (Demonstrating tangible financial value)
    • Improved Sales Pipeline & Conversion Metrics (Measured through BD team feedback)
    • Cross-Business Synergies Created (At least 1 joint offering between business units)
    • Leadership Approval & Implementation Plan Secured

        Required Qualifications:

        ✅8+ years of experience in revenue strategy, business development, or consulting.

        ✅Proven track record of identifying and monetizing new business opportunities.

        ✅Strong background in financial services, impact investing, or sustainability sectors.

        ✅Client engagement expertise—ability to develop and execute high-value client strategies.

        ✅Experience with B2B partnerships, corporate engagement, and institutional sales.

        ✅Analytical mindset with experience in market research, pricing strategy, and sales optimization.

        ✅A passion for financial innovation, gender equality, and climate impact.

        ✅ Location: Fully remote within APAC region with availability to travel.
