Business Technology Solutions Consultant-Client Neighborhood
Salary: $202779 to $205000 per year
Location: Evanston, IL and various, unanticipated locations throughout the United States.

Job Role and Responsibilities: ZS's Client Neighborhood Group consists of several teams that are directly focused on using analytics and insights to identify external market drivers, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to a single, specific client. Plan, initiate, and manage medium and large-scale information technology (IT) projects and manage and provide guidance to technical junior team members, including degreed Business Analysts, Associates, Associate Consultants, Solution Architects, and Project Leads (10%). Coordinate with Project Leadership to define the IT project scope and strategies, requiring ability to understand business issue, select the appropriate IT tools and ZS software/functionalities, and develop IT strategies using project management tools (5%). Provide leadership and management on multiple IT projects to ensure that high-quality project deliverables are completed with an appropriate level of analytical rigor and are delivered on time and within budget, requiring expertise in front-end user reporting, back-end database management, and/or ETL interfacing technologies (10%). Lead the execution of key assignments, including directing all communications with clients and team members to understand objectives and technical requirements/features, create deliverables, and communicate findings, requiring ability to understand BI solution designs and implementations (10%). Manage the design and execution of IT and quantitative and qualitative analyses to understand and address key project issues (10%). Lead feasibility analysis, select the technologies that provide the optimal solution, and identify ZS's proprietary products available that will best fit the solution proposed (5%). Leverage experience in IT project management activities, including project planning/estimation, scoping/requirements through implementation, and quality assurance within timelines and budgets (10%). Manage delivery dates, resourcing, and scheduling while identifying and mitigating IT project and client-level risks (5%). Lead business and strategy development meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are met (5%). Conduct team status meetings to coordinate subprojects and tasks across technical team members while ensuring the quality of all project deliverables (5%). Ensure that all solutions are designed appropriately by taking advantage of existing assets while maintaining a balance between architecture requirements and specific client needs (5%). Develop and manage client relationships on multiple projects and identify opportunities to contribute to the selling of additional solutions delivery work (5%). Facilitate collaboration with other team members involved in the Software Development Lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, rollout and operations phases, to ensure seamless transitions (5%). Ensure that all projects are appropriately staffed and that team members are productively engaged at all times by continuously evaluating staffing needs, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring technical team members (5%). Mentor subordinates and provide developmental opportunities for team members, including conducting performance summaries, coaching subordinates on project management and professional goals, training on ZS's proprietary software, and providing guidance to reports on client presentations (5%). May work in various, unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Position may require up to 25% domestic travel.

Qualifications: Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related pharma, life sciences, or healthcare management consulting role. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related pharma, life sciences, or healthcare management consulting role.
Position requires experience with the following: 1. Managing end-to-end projects; 2. Leading/mentoring teams; 3. Client-facing experience; 4. Front-end user reporting; 5. BI solution design and implementation; 6. SQL; 7. Python; 8. JIRA; 9. Data engineering; 10. Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP); 11. AI Technologies; 12. Business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, analyzing trends, building relationships with stakeholders, developing new products or services, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams; and 13. Preparing responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs).
