Job DescriptionThis Senior Business Analyst will assist ITS Grants
Management with the transition from the Grants Gateway into New York’s Statewide
Financial System (SFS). As part of the effort, the Business Analyst will help move
existing grants business from the Grants Gateway into the SFS while ensuring that the
SFS grants configuration is adequate for NYS Grant Making business. Analyzes an
organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or
processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology
with distinct deliverables to a solution.
60 months experience in performing requirements gathering
and business analysis, producing written documentation of
requirements; system design and implementation.
12 months experience as a state employee or public/private
consultant performing Business Analysis activities in
support of a state enterprise or agency specific grants or
financial management system.
60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work independently,
without assistance and provides guidance to others. May
have an advanced education
36 months experience identifying data quality issues, data
quality, data validation rules, database constraints, and
other data migration efforts.
24 months experience of analysis in migrating legacy data
into an enterprise COTS solution and analyzing other
integrated dependent systems to new COTS solution
Compensation - 100K per year
