The Business Systems , Supply Chain Systems will be responsible for providing functional and technical expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless integration with WMS, POS systems, and other legacy platforms.

This is a hands-on role that involves direct collaboration with business stakeholders, system integrators, and technology teams. The engineer will be accountable for delivering assigned projects and workstreams, driving successful implementation of key initiatives.

This position sits on-site 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX
 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide support for the S/4HANA system, ensuring seamless integration with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Point of Sale (POS) platforms.
• Participate in S/4HANA enhancement initiatives, rollouts, and support projects, ensuring the successful implementation of SAP solutions.
• Monitor stock levels, identify potential shortages or excess inventory, and take corrective actions to optimize inventory management.
• Manage key inventory-related processes, including physical inventory control, stock movement management, inventory analysis, procurement, and store replenishment.
• Support the integration of SAP S/4HANA with external systems.
• Hands-on experience in S/4HANA system design and configuration.
• Lead retail master data setup, migration, and conversion.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA landscape design, data consumption, integration, and related applications.
• Collaborate with business teams to manage data mapping, transformation, and extraction.
• Develop and implement data validation and verification strategies for testing and go-live activities.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.
   

Basic Qualifications/Requirements/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of SAP implementation experience, preferably within the retail industry
• Proven ability to implement technology-enabled business solutions within a high-performance team environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics operations, and related processes.
• Experience with key systems and processes, including:
  • Material Master Management and Product Information Management (PIM) integration.
  • Site and store master setup.
  • Direct procurement and inbound receiving.
  • Warehouse inventory management.
  • Store replenishment, allocations, receiving, and inter-store shipments.
  • Store inventory management and return logistics.
  • Refurb Operations Center (ROC) processes, including receiving, bill of materials (BOM) management, and outbound shipping.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with business teams and drive process improvements.
• At least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
   

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP IS Retail implementation and AMS experience
• Strong understanding of SAP Retail solution portfolio and product strategy.
• Knowledge in the following technical areas is a plus: SAP CPI, ABAP development/debugging a plus., IDOCs
