Position:
CSC is looking for a Business Analyst - Payments, based in Bangalore.
The main purpose of the role is to support the payments program in all aspects and to do functional management of the payment applications and workflows. It requires to work across global teams and stakeholders to capture, validate and document business and system requirements, making sure they are in line with key strategic principles, and translate from business operations, business objectives, or from external requirements.
The role is not remote and requires the staff to be following the organization's HR policies around working from office.
Requirement:
Strategic: CSC owns and executes the Payments Program.
- Analyze the structure of the business, its use of technology and goals.
- Serve as a liaison between the Business and Tech team to provide functional and technical solutions that meet user needs.
- Be the main point of contact to work with the business team for developing requirements that meet the business needs of clients.
- Identify, capture, and translate any operational requirements into clear Functional Use Cases/business processes.
- Identify problems within business, including through data modelling techniques.
- Governance / partner management, Issue and Risk Management analysis.
- Coordination of changes across multiple teams.
Execution:
- Work on client demands and alignment to best-in-class capabilities, resulting in the delivery of a superior project outcomes.
- Closely collaborate with Technology teams on technology driven opportunities.
- Closely collaborate with the heads of Business Operations of each region to optimize existing payment processes and start creating the future client journey and workflow.
- Leverage new techniques (such as Design Thinking) and foster client input in Client Co-Creation initiatives with strategic clients.
- Focus on Digitisation as well as Digitalisation.
We are looking for following experience:
- A minimum of 8 years in Financial Services in payments area as Business Analyst.
- Solid understanding of Payments Factory system (example FIS Trax), SWIFT payment types (FIN & FileAct, MT, PAIN), SEPA, ACH, International and other payment formats.
- Strong understanding of Payment domain (cross border, domestic payments, SWIFT messages).
- Experience/Understanding of payments operations across various stages like payment initiation, validation, sanctions, processing, post processing.
- Experience in implementing strategic payment solution - design, innovation, and implementation.
- Exposure to Bank connectivity projects for payments and bank statements.
- Managed or participated in Application version upgrades, Integration with various ERP systems and SFTP transfers.
- Expertise in gathering requirements, creating business use-cases and user-stories, documenting the functional or business requirements (BRD, FRD, Use Case, Flow Diagrams).
- Support the Technology teams and business teams in creating and executing test scenarios and test scripts, identifying, and supporting cut-over and implementation tasks.
- Facilitating UAT as well as supporting platform and feature teams in executing the UAT.
- Ability to excel in project delivery while working in a high-paced, globally spread team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with customers, key stakeholders, senior managers from across the globe, and having good documentation skills (must have).
- Candidates should be self-driven in determining next steps & able to function independently.
Profile Requirement:
- Preferred Masters in Finance & Accounting or Chartered Accountant.
- 3-8 years' experience gained in operations, audit or advisory on those topics.
- Experience in working across country lines and operating in a global, multinational organization, ideally in a matrix structure.
- Demonstrable accomplishments relating to organizational change activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced dynamic industry.
- Positive attitude, team player, proactive and ready to accept challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
