What's the Short Version?

The Business Systems Analyst supports cross-organizational, complex systems. The role determines areas for support and improvements, collects, analyzes, and evaluates business and users' needs across systems, and proposes technical solutions. They work closely with business and technical teams to define key processes, requirements, and system integrations across the enterprise.


What You Will Be Doing?

  • Works with business and technical stakeholders to develop and document functional and technical requirements for integration projects.
  • Translates business rules and requirements into appropriate process workflows, charts, models, and technical specifications.
  • Develops subject matter expertise in foundation data, application, and platform functionality and features.
  • Conducts analysis of system issues and proposes technical solutions.
  • Works closely with QA to ensure system is built and configured to requirements and design specification, participates in the development of the test plan and test cases.
  • Maintains support documentation and assist with training business and technical support teams on new/revised functionality.
  • Investigates issues that are escalated by Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams, engaging the right teams and providing guidance on corrective actions.
  • Key partner in communications for project stakeholders and project managers, assisting with development of content and delivery of project communications and stakeholder management.
  • Effectively communicates and documents business and system information.
  • May drive the project management of smaller projects and lead responsibility for analysis work streams within projects of significant size or impact.


What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
  • 1-3 years experience as a systems analyst or related role Required.
  • Demonstrated ability to approach business problems from a disciplined, analytical perspective.
  • Willing to take initiative to identify and anticipate improvement opportunities and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional listening skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-directed and motivated.
  • A curious mind, strong critical thinking skills, and a continuous drive to expand and learn for the future.
  • A bias for action with the ability to adapt quickly with a positive attitude toward change.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to customer service.
  • Experience working with ecommerce, finance and accounting or digital sales and marketing teams a plus.
  • Experience with SAP Commerce and Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Supply Chain a plus.
  • Experience with Agile Methodology a plus.


What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $80,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on experience.

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions.
SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
