As a Business Systems Analyst at GDIT, your work will help bridge business needs and technology solutions that support mission-critical outcomes for USPS. You will partner with stakeholders to understand objectives, gather and analyze requirements, and translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable solutions. In this role, you will support process improvement, system optimization, and effective delivery across cross-functional teams. You will help ensure business priorities are aligned with technical execution, enabling better decisions, stronger performance, and measurable impact across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited College/University is required.
- Alternative Path: If the candidate does not possess a relevant four-year degree, an additional four years of relevant work experience will be required.
Required Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; however, additional experience can be substituted for degree.

- Minimum 6 years’ experience in IT
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with systems supporting business functions related to Warehouse Management and Inventory Management.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum management tools such as VersionOne.
- Familiarity with Incident and Change Management tools such as ServiceNow.
- Ability to write a test plan covering multiple inter-related objects in a dynamic test environment
- Ability to write test scripts fully covering specific objects and executing those test scripts within a larger test plan.
- Ability to coordinate individual test script execution within a medium to large team to ensure coordination of various data elements for different test scripts and ability to segregate results for all concurrent testers.
- Use of Office Applications to document and communicate work efforts and test results including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong testing experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
- Strong SQL skills for validating data, building test scenarios, and supporting defect analysis.
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka—understanding of message flows, schemas, and how data moves between systems.
- Experience validating API behavior, request/response structures, and integration rules.

- This role will require you to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and will require you to provide onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility. This investigation may review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, as well as other adjudications.

The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). The likely salary range for this position is $72,877 - $98,599. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
