The Role

Who is Bond-Pro:

Seeking experienced, passionate business analyst professionals from the property and casualty insurance industry who have worked on customer or carrier portals. 

What is this Role: 

You will improve our customer portal by translating clients’ needs into new high-quality features. Your duties will include gathering, analyzing & defining the business requirements, analyzing system requirements, addressing any relevant problems, performing standard testing, and chaperoning your assigned features throughout the SDLC to delivery. 

Responsibilities are: 

  • Explore and evaluate current systems 
  • Define system requirements 
  • Interact with users to understand their needs and track additional requirements and features 
  • Work together with the development team to bring features to production 
  • Analyze changes by testing programs 
  • Support and train users on new portal features, etc. 
  • Ensure deadlines and requirements are met 
  • Stay current on market and technical developments 
  • Become SME for assigned features/areas of the customer portal

Who is well suited for this Role? 

You should have experience with enterprise software web portal development.  We seek creative and hardworking people who inspire those around them with their contributions to the team.   

We are only hiring candidates residing in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. Relocation is not an option.

Requirements are: 

  • 5+ years' experience working as a Business Systems Analyst 
  • Experienced in customer or B2B portal development, testing and documentation 
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills  
  • Strong communication skills – able to explain technical details to various audiences 
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant area
  • Experience in property and casualty insurance (not healthcare insurance), preferably commercial surety bonds 
  • Understanding of Azure DevOps or Jira to manage requirements in the Scrum process
