We are seeking a highly skilled BTIT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Level 3 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience analyzing business needs and translating them into technology solutions within the Business Technology and Information Technology domains. You will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, improving processes, and ensuring technology investments deliver maximum value to the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to identify business needs and define technology solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of complex technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate project status, gather feedback, and promote collaboration.
- Oversee the development and execution of testing strategies, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate solutions against business requirements.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts on best practices in business analysis and project management.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.
Work experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on Business Technology and Information Technology.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Proven experience in leading complex projects and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. 6+ years of directly related or relevant experience, preferably in client software solutions design or management of IT Operations.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) (Desired).
- Lean Six Sigma (Desired).
- ITIL, ITSM Certifications (Desired).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP) are a plus.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Business Intelligence Tools like Tableau, Power BI.
- Programming and Development Languages - JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Python, SQL.
- CRM platforms such as SAP, Salesforce.
