Do you enjoy digging into data, improving processes and helping teams work smarter? United Way of Connecticut is looking for a Business Solutions Analyst who can connect business needs, technology and data to help our programs operate effectively.

In this role, you’ll work across teams to understand business requirements, analyze workflows, support application testing, maintain data integrity and develop reports that help leaders make informed decisions. If you’re analytical, organized and enjoy turning complex information into practical solutions, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Why You’ll Love This Role
  • Competitive Pay – $27.91–$32.98/hour, based on relevant experience, education and internal equity.
  • Hybrid Schedule – work remotely most of the week with one required in-office day at our Rocky Hill, CT office.

  • Participate in acceptance testing to ensure program and system requirements are met.
  • Collect and analyze data from multiple data sources to identify trends and report outcomes and measurements.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity.
  • Maintain schedules to ensure defined deliverables are accurate and timely.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current systems, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for increased efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on system enhancements, reporting needs and organizational initiatives.
  • Develop procedures, documentation and user resources to support business processes and systems.
A Day in the Life

You might start your day reviewing data for accuracy, then meet with a program team to better understand a reporting or system need. Later, you could be testing an application enhancement, troubleshooting a workflow or creating a report that helps leadership understand program outcomes.

No two projects will look exactly the same, but your focus will remain consistent: using data, technology and business analysis to help our teams work more effectively.
