The Fund Tech Modernization Program is a multiyear, cross functional transformation and one of the Finance division’s key strategic initiatives. The program focuses on modernizing core technology and global middle office operations, simplifying data flows, and enabling scalable, future ready capabilities across regions and lines of business. Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment and can effectively manage competing priorities across diverse stakeholders. This role is aligned to the IMG Service / Front Office domain within the program and will require close partnership with the IMG Service Global Process Owner, Front Office & IMG Service Product Teams, and Business and Technology leaders. Success in this role requires someone who can bring structure to ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, and confidently drive progress across multiple teams without formal authority.
Core/Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project delivery across the IMG Service / Front Office domain by developing, executing, and maintaining integrated project plans, including scope, schedules, resource allocation, financials, and risk management plans, ensuring successful and timely outcomes in a complex, high-visibility environment.
Drive strategic alignment and transparency by proactively engaging Senior Leaders, Project Sponsors, and governance forums with clear, concise, and actionable reporting, while surfacing risks, challenging assumptions, and driving timely decisions across business and technology stakeholders.
Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, Front Office product teams, and impacted business divisions to oversee requirements, define and manage scope, align priorities, and navigate competing demands, proactively managing expectations and driving alignment.
Manage integrated schedules and resources to ensure alignment with business objectives, working collaboratively with Product Managers, IT, and Business leads to balance delivery commitments and capacity constraints, while driving coordination across multiple teams with interdependent deliverables.
Identify, assess, and actively manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions (RAIDD), holding stakeholders accountable for timely resolution, driving escalation where needed, and facilitating structured discussions to remove blockers and minimize delivery impacts.
Provide oversight and direction to workstream leads, reinforcing accountability for outcomes, ensuring consistent application of project management standards, and constructively challenging delays or gaps in execution to maintain momentum.
Develop and maintain high-quality project management artifacts, including status reports, dashboards, milestone tracking, and dependency maps, translating complex delivery details into executive-level insights that enable informed decision-making and action.
Continuously improve delivery discipline and execution outcomes by identifying process efficiencies, lessons learned, and opportunities to strengthen program performance, while operating effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with demanding stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills (Ideal Candidate):
5+ years of project / program management experience within financial services, technology, or operations-driven environments, delivering initiatives of increasing complexity and visibility, with experience in front office, product, or client-facing environments preferred.
Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects, balancing scope, schedule, risk, and stakeholder expectations to achieve high-quality outcomes, including driving delivery in high-pressure environments with competing priorities.
Strong command of project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools, including Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches, with hands-on experience using tools such as MS Project, Jira, or equivalent.
Proven ability to collaborate, influence, and constructively challenge diverse stakeholder groups, including Product, Technology, Operations, and senior leadership, with excellent communication, relationship management skills, and the ability to drive alignment without formal authority.
Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, managing multiple priorities and dependencies while maintaining focus on outcomes, delivery commitments, and proactive ownership of results.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify risks, evaluate options, and drive solutions in complex scenarios.
Undergraduate degree required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience; graduate degree preferred.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP) and change management experience is preferred but not required.
