We are seeking a Business Process Automation and Dashboard Developer to design and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and data visibility across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience developing financial reports within Deltek Costpoint, along with a working understanding of its underlying data model. This role will focus on analyzing business processes, identifying automation opportunities, and developing technology solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including:

  • Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation
  • Microsoft Power BI for dashboards and analytics
  • Microsoft Power Apps for internal applications

The position will play a critical role in improving organizational performance by:

  • Reducing manual processes through automation
  • Increasing visibility into operational and financial data
  • Delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights through dashboards and reporting

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Capture business process flows using Microsoft Visio from process owners
  • Creating automation routines using Power Automate that accurately reflect the process captured and approved by the process owner
  • Creating automation production schedules for process intake, automation development, and target production dates
  • Develop test cases to verify process outcomes
  • Conducting training for other organization members who would like to create automation workflows on their own
  • Publish success stories at the quarterly town hall events
  • Coordinate the priority of development with the organization's CTO
  • Support contract activities, as needed, to provide dashboarding and automation solutions
  • Will partner with the CTO and function as an in-house contact for Power BI data and visualization-related activities and low-code programming

Requirements
  • US Citizen with eligibility for a National Agency Check (NAC) with no negative findings
  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years of experience with Power Automate, Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, and Power Apps 
  • 1+ years of experience with DelTek CostPoint
Required (Must Have) Skills:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Requires strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, and Microsoft Power Apps
  • Proven knowledge of data visualization best practices and ability to tell a clear story to support data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to develop and lead working groups comprised of multiple agencies and senior-level individuals to achieve common goals
  • Office 365 service management experience to understand SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams architectures for development
  • Strong time management skills and commitment to maintaining a reliable production schedule to meet commitment dates
Desired Skills:
  • Possess the ability to create model-driven apps leveraging Microsoft Dataverse 
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Virtual Agents and Copilot Studio
  • Python/.Net/C# expertise for calculating variables and formatting data within the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Microsoft Power BI Report Builder skills and experience 
  • Microsoft SQL Server Reporting experience 
  • Ability to connect to API data feeds

Our goal is to provide a compensation package that reflects the value you bring to our team, is competitive with national average market rates, and promotes your financial security and personal well-being. The annual salary range for this role is $63,800 - $80,000. Please note that the salary information provided is a general guideline. CATHEXIS considers various factors in its final offer, including location, qualifications, experience, and skills.
