The Business Analyst - Payments & Promotions is the owner of the transactional performance of the business, driving growth through the end-to-end optimization of payments and promotions. Turns data into actionable decisions by identifying opportunities across the entire funnel and transforming them into concrete initiatives that maximize conversion, GMV, and profitability.

Your challenges:

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics related to the transactional funnel, including approval rate, conversion, fraud, chargebacks, and promotional performance.
  • Collaborate with country managers and finance teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans that impact payments, promotions, and revenue.
  • Manage and execute projects aimed at optimizing approval rate, improving conversion, and maximizing promotional ROI.
  • Define, implement, and optimize promotional initiatives (discounts, installments, financial benefits), evaluating their impact and incremental contribution to sales.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on key KPIs to business leaders, highlighting trends, deviations, and opportunities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the business team on performance topics related to payments and promotions, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
  • Work cross-functionally with Technology, Product, Finance, Marketing, and Fraud teams to implement improvements across the funnel.
  • Collaborate in managing relationships with external partners (banks, issuers, PSPs, acquirers) to optimize conditions and performance.
  • Build and maintain dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • +3 years of experience in Payments, Finance, Growth, or related teams within eCommerce.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and ability to identify improvement opportunities in processes and performance.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on business impact.

Valued Skills:

  • Experience working with payment processors, payment methods, and fraud prevention systems.
  • Knowledge of key eCommerce and payments metrics (approval rate, conversion rate, chargebacks, promotional ROI).
  • Experience in promotions analysis and incremental impact evaluation.
  • Understanding of SLAs and KPI management in digital environments.
