Overview
The Business Operations Manager Wholesale Europe plays a key role in strengthening sales effectiveness, enabling operational excellence, and supporting strategic initiatives across the Wholesale Europe (WSE) organization. This role brings structure, insights, and collaboration to help drive growth and improve performance across diverse markets.
Purpose of the Role
The Business Operations Manager helps create a structured, data‑driven, and performance‑oriented environment within WSE. You translate strategic objectives into practical execution, support the Head of WSE and the Management Team, and ensure our regional needs are represented across the wider organization. You also enable global alignment, contribute to sales strategy execution, and support cross‑regional collaboration. In this role, you act as an operational enabler of the global sales strategy, helping ensure that regional initiatives are aligned with broader organizational priorities. You ensure close alignment with international colleagues so that regional insights, priorities, and wholesale activities are well‑coordinated across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify performance gaps and improve sales processes across European markets.
- Analyze market dynamics to spot opportunities and support tailored sales strategies.
- Implement data-driven accountability frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
- Support or lead projects on channels, clients, and product development.
- Help create a collaborative, transparent, and high-performance culture.
- Act as a connector between WSE teams and global colleagues.
- Facilitate regular alignment between sales, marketing, investment, and product teams.
- Use market insights to support strategy development.
- Identify product or market gaps in collaboration with APAC and Europe.
- Track KPIs, provide clear reporting, and support decision-making.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Asset Management, ideally across the value chain.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance, and operational risk.
- Able to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Strong communicator and trusted advisor.
- Analytical thinker with ability to handle large datasets.
- Proactive, collaborative, and improvement minded.
- Ability to create impact in a multicultural, matrixed environment.
