As our new Senior Business Operations Manager Marketplace (d/f/m), you will report directly to the management team of Kleinanzeigen.de and contribute to our quest to change trade for good by making re-commerce first choice for German online shoppers.

This is a hybrid remote/in-office role, and our office is based in Berlin Charlottenburg.

What you'll do:

• Oversee and improve the operations of our cross-functional Marketplace Business Unit, which represents the heart of Kleinanzeigen including teams from all departments, from engineering to sales to customer service.

• Provide executive support by keeping track of business performance, ensuring effective decision-making and preparing executive-level deliverables, e.g. for operations reviews and board meetings.

• Lead and support strategic projects across the Marketplace Business Unit and in collaboration with other parts of the organization.

• Ensure impactful collaboration by facilitating communication between departments and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

• Be a strategic partner to the Marketplace Business Unit leadership team, consisting of senior leaders from business, product, technology and marketing

Who you are:

• 5+ years experience in relevant roles in consulting, (r)e-commerce, strategic projects or similar

• Hands-on experience in setting up and optimizing operating rhythms incl. rituals, artefacts and communication flows

• You are able to break down complex strategic problems and define clear recommendations, helping teams to see and work on the big picture, driving focus on critical priorities

• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear and compelling narratives. Especially experience creating executive communications.

• You enjoy connecting and working with people from all strands

• You like to support wherever it's needed for the benefit of the our users and Kleinanzeigen

• Fluent in English, fluency in German a big plus
