We are looking for a Business Operations Lead to partner with the leadership team of one of Superhuman’s Business Units (BUs) to drive strategic clarity, operational alignment, and execution across the BU’s most important initiatives. Our BUs are led by an Engineering, Product, Design, and Marketing (EPDM) leadership team — with the Product leader as the point of the spear — and this role exists to make that BU and its leadership team successful as we expand our product portfolio in a compound-startup model.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and cross-functional execution. You will solid-line into the Strategy & Operations organization and dotted-line into your Business Unit, giving you both a durable operating craft and deep proximity to the leaders you serve. You’ll turn strategy into clear priorities, decisions, and execution plans as a long-term operational partner to the BU rather than a project-based resource. Your partners will span the company, from other BUs to our Route-to-Market (RTM) teams and functional experts. It is truly an opportunity to have an outsized impact!
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with your BU’s EPDM leadership team — anchored by the Product leader as the point of the spear — to turn strategy into clear priorities, decisions, and execution plans.
Planning & Performance: run team-level planning, goal-setting, business reviews, and performance tracking connected to company-wide planning cycles, so leaders can focus on decision-making.
Special Projects: take dedicated ownership of the BU’s most complex, cross-functional initiatives so key efforts have a clear owner and don’t stall.
Ways of Working: build the rhythms, cadences, documentation, and tooling so the team isn’t rebuilding its operating infrastructure from scratch each quarter or with each reorg.
Leadership Extension: represent your leaders in forums, cross-company meetings, and escalation paths as a trusted delegate — not just a coordinator — so key decisions don’t wait on calendar openings.
Partners across the company with other BUs, Route-to-Market (RTM) teams and functional experts to have an outsized impact on the trajectory of our organization.
Facilitate strong information flow up, across, and down the organization to enable fast, informed decision-making in a matrixed, multi-product environment.
Drive operational readiness for new products, integrations, and cross-functional launches by coordinating planning and enablement across the BU and its RTM partners.
Independently drive initiatives day to day while scoping and partnering with the broader Strategy & Operations team for support on key motions.
Establish a clear operating cadence, planning rhythms, business review, and governance model, dashboards, etc. for the BU to drive visibility, accountability, and faster decisions.
Take ownership of one or more of the BU’s most complex initiatives — for example a cross-functional launch or the integration of an acquired product or team — and see it through.
Define and track success metrics for the BU, linking operational outcomes to company goals.
Experience operating at the intersection of strategy, operations, and cross-functional execution, especially in complex go-to-market or enterprise growth environments.
A strong track record partnering with senior leaders across EPDM, GTM, Revenue, Sales, Finance, and Data to align priorities and turn strategy into execution.
Proven skill building operating cadences, governance models, planning rhythms, and decision-making processes that improve clarity, accountability, and speed.
The ability to lead through influence in a matrixed, multi-product organization, acting as a connective operator across teams and business units.
Comfort owning ambiguous, high-impact initiatives independently, using data-informed judgment to drive readiness, launches, and business performance.
