Business Operations Internship

Our technology is deployed globally, supporting customers including the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, CAL FIRE, PG&E, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and many others.

As a Business Operations Intern at Picogrid, you will collaborate closely with our founding team, contributing to developing our go-to-market strategy, researching potential growth avenues, and offering operational support to our engineering and business development teams. This role provides a unique opportunity to engage with different facets of the business and make meaningful contributions.

NOTE: This apprenticeship opportunity is a program with Cameron University in Lawton, OK. It is currently open to students enrolled in full-time degree programs.

• Actively assist our founders in implementing key business initiatives, playing a significant role in the execution of high-priority projects.

• Engage in comprehensive research and lead generation activities to bolster business development efforts, contributing to the identification and pursuit of new growth opportunities.

• Develop and prepare written documents and presentations, ensuring high-quality communication materials are available for both internal decision-making and external engagements.

• You are interested in defense technology and acquisition processes.

• You enjoy ownership. You don’t wait for work to be assigned, take pride in getting the job done, and seek feedback at crucial junctures.

• You can be outgoing and thoughtfully navigate personal relationships, but also hunker down to get the work through the finish line.

• In the penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree program.

• Exhibiting a strong academic record.

• Enrolled in a BSc or MSc, ideally in technical discipline.

• Skilled in analytics.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in professional or extracurricular settings.

• A history of initiative-taking and leadership in various environments.

• Characterized by resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, high energy, and maturity.

• Exceptional at tackling open-ended problems in unstructured scenarios.

• Adaptable and introspective, ready to learn, teach, lead, and follow.
