SOKOL GxP Services is looking for a Business Operations Associate to support procurement and operational activities within a biologics development organization.

This role focuses on coordinating procurement activities across capital equipment, laboratory supplies, and vendor services, ensuring accurate processing, documentation, and compliance with internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate capital equipment and laboratory supply purchase requests, including gathering specifications, documentation, and approvals
  • Create and track purchase requisitions and purchase orders in alignment with internal processes
  • Support supplier quotation collection and routing for review and approval
  • Track order status, delivery timelines, and installation milestones
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Facilities, Finance) and external vendors
  • Support invoice tracking, discrepancy resolution, and reconciliation activities
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation to support audit readiness and compliance
  • Follow established procedures and escalation paths for procurement activities

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, scientific discipline, or equivalent
  • 4–7 years of experience supporting procurement or operational activities
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Ariba preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Benefits

Competitive hourly rate: $45.30 – $54.70/hr (W-2 only, no C2C)

Hybrid position - 50 % on site

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, regular business hours

12-month contract with possible extension
