As a Business Office Manager (i.e., Medical Billing and Reimbursement Manager), you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function in a residential care nursing center that provides long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services. You will bill Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care, ensure billing, reimbursement and collections activities are processed in a timely manner, analyze collections, assess bad debt reserves, review and recommend write-offs, ensure a timely closure at month end and proper accounting per state and federal regulations. You will also provide an oversight of the center's Business Office Coordinator.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or above in Business, Accounting, or related field a plus.
  • Three (3+) years' experience in third party billing and/or collections in a decentralized billing environment required.
  • One (1+) years long-term care business office required, or relatable accounts receivable, accounts payable, medical billing, medical reimbursement, and/or collections experience.
  • Medicaid / Managed Care billing experience in the state of practice preferred.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and office products

Skills Required
