SAX Advisory Group, LLC is representing its prestigious client, Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center in the search for a full-time Business Office Manager located in Bridgewater, NJ. This position follows a standard 40-hour, 5-day workweek schedule in the office.

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to support financial and operational functions across our Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), and related entities. This individual will play a critical role in managing and reconciling financial data, ensuring accurate cash flow reporting, and serving as the liaison between facilities and third-party vendors. This position requires someone with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of healthcare finance, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash & Bank Functions
- Oversee cash flow activities for SNFs and AL’s, including petty cash and cash receipt postings
- Monitor Positive Pay and manage ancillary batch postings (therapy, pharmacy)
Accounts Receivable & Billing
- Maintain and track AR adjustments and coinsurance adjustments
- Serve as billing liaison with vendors for SNFs and BCAH
- Field and resolve resident billing inquiries
- Manage AR oversight and provide backup as needed
- Support RFMS oversight, working closely with AP/AR/Payroll clerks
Cross-functional & Communication Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all business office inquiries
- Collaborate with other departments and external vendors
- Support vendor communication and reporting needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in healthcare finance or skilled nursing/ALF environment
- Proficiency in financial software; experience with PCC, RFMS, or similar systems preferred
- Must have leadership skills such as: cross functional communication, Accountability & Ownership, Adaptable, Problem Solving & Critical thinking
- Strong understanding of billing, AR/AP cycles, and bank reconciliations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
