Overview: 

The Business Manager at TMX Transform plays a critical role in supporting the Chief Customer Officer (CCO) by overseeing key projects and ensuring operational alignment across the customer function. This role is primarily focused on project management, coordination, and execution of high-priority business initiatives. The role keeps the projects running smoothly and frees leadership to focus on growth, delivery, and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Commercial Support:

• Lead and coordinate key business initiatives, ensuring all reports and deliverables are completed on time, free from material errors, and support effective decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and up to date records in Salesforce for the CCO’s accounts and pipeline opportunities.

• Support the development and implementation of operational objectives, business strategies, and improvement plans to enhance customer experience, stakeholder outcomes, and the effective use of organisational resources.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as a central point of coordination across clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.

• Communicate professionally, provide clear updates, and respond promptly, maintaining a high standard of responsiveness and follow-through.

• Support the delivery of change initiatives by engaging stakeholders, tracking adoption, and ensuring alignment across teams during periods of transformation.

Operational Excellence & Compliance:

• Ensure all reporting and documentation are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Maintain full compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.

• Identify operational inefficiencies, process gaps, and improvement opportunities through continuous improvement initiatives, governance reviews, and change management activities.

Quality Assurance:

• Review all internal and external outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness prior to distribution.

• Maintain a high standard of work with zero preventable errors reaching clients or senior leadership.

Meeting & Governance Management:

• Coordinate internal and external meetings end-to-end, ensuring:

    • Agendas are circulated in advance

    • Action registers are maintained with clear ownership and deadlines

Project Support & Prioritisation:

• Anticipate the needs of stakeholders, prioritising effectively and managing tasks proactively without the need for close supervision.

Establish and maintain project governance frameworks and ensuring initiative are delivered in line with business objectives.

• Analyse and evaluate existing business processes, systems, reporting frameworks, and operational structures to support organisational effectiveness and process optimisation.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:

• Identify risks, inefficiencies, or gaps early, and proactively implement solutions to improve processes and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

• 2+ years experience in a Business Manager or similar role
