The Role

As Business Manager (m/f/d) within the CAO Office of the Client Division, based in one of our german offices you will play a key role within our global team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in the shaping of the Client Division.  With a broad spectrum and plenty of opportunity and exposure, this role will underpin the ongoing success of the Division’s business strategy and operational effectiveness. The Client Division is the key interface to our clients. The Division drives the Company´s strategic priorities and is responsible for product development, capital raising and client services.

Reporting into the CAO Client Division, with close connections to our Senior Leadership Team and the Head of the Client Division, this role is all about understanding the needs of the division, building a sustainable and high performing function with a Client focussed mindset.

Your Responsibilities:

Strategies & Concepts:

  • Develop strategies and concepts to enhance client experience, improve sales performance, and increase operational efficiency of division
  • Lead key strategic projects, steering Leaders and Teams effectively to meet deadlines whilst ensuring the needs of the Division are fully aligned
  • Active participation in Product Development initiatives

Cross Functional Collaboration and Operational Enhancements:

  • Work cross-divisionally with other divisions to optimize the client value chain, represent the Client Division in contributions across the whole organisation - Collaborate with colleagues across the globe
  • Lead and align all operational enhancements with Stakeholders, Senior Management and Operational Teams, ensuring a successful, collaborative implementation across the Division
  • Act as the go-to-person of CAO Office for daily, business as usual topics

Analytical Skills and Data Focus:

  • Run organizational & financial analysis for the Division, presenting findings into well-structured, practical recommendations for implementation
  • Steer yearly budget process, supporting the CAO in maintaining divisional cost oversight - Identifying saving potentials throughout the year. Able to develop a deep understanding of Division’s cost structure and control mechanisms.

Performance:

  • Support CAO in performance management of the Division, in evolving monitoring tools
  • With CAO, run divisional reviews, consolidate findings and identify optimization needs to execute on

 

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business or Finance
  • Ideal candidate has previous experience in a Consultancy or a Real Estate/Real Asset Company
  • Proven project management and communication skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, ability to present new ideas in a compelling manner
  • Advanced financial skills with experience in financial analysis.  Control mindset with a focus and ability to understand details and cost structures
  • Experience in organizational/ corporate development
  • Well-structured and independent way of working with good prioritization skills, able to orchestrate multiple tasks within tight deadlines
  • A self-starter with strong drive, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple assignments, stringent deadlines and changing priorities
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. Ideally some experience with Onventis, Tagetik, Power BI. Motivated to further upskill
  • Excellent German and English (communication, writing and presentation skills)
