• Act as the primary BI liaison for the
Merchandising and Product Development teams, understanding their needs and
translating them into clear reporting and data requirements.
• Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and
reports that support:
1. Sales performance tracking
2. Sell-through and stock analysis
3. Product lifecycle and launch performance
4. Margin and cost analysis
• Work collaboratively on cross-departmental
projects, including pricing strategy, demand planning, and NPD (new product
development) tracking.
• Support the Merchandising team in preparing
weekly trade reports, seasonal reviews, and executive presentations with clean,
visual insights.
• Partner with IT, data engineers, or BI
developers to ensure data pipelines are accurate, scalable, and aligned with
reporting goals.
• Help ensure consistency and standardization of
data definitions, KPIs, and tools across the company.
• Identify
gaps in reporting and proactively suggest tools, visualizations, or new metrics
that drive better decision-making.
Requirements
• Bachelors
degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Merchandising, Finance, or a
related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a BI, data analyst, merchandising analyst,
or a planning role.
• Experience working with product or retail data (especially in
luxury/fashion/jewellery) is highly desirable
