As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will support the team by helping gather, analyze, and present business and financial data. You will assist with creating reports, identifying trends, and providing insights that support decision-making. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools in a professional setting.

Essential functions/responsibilities

- Assist in preparing standard and custom reports summarizing business, financial, or market data
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and transformation processes
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, outliers, and business opportunities
- Help gather and organize data from internal databases and public sources
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to support strategic planning initiatives
- Support the analysis of data trends to identify key patterns that inform business decisions
- Maintain and update dashboards, spreadsheets, and other reporting tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into BI solutions
- Provide support in maintaining libraries of templates, reports, and documentation
- Assist with competitive analysis by researching market trends and industry developments
- Participate in team meetings to share findings and support recommendations
- Provide technical assistance with business intelligence tools and report generation
- Learn and apply best practices in data analysis, reporting, and visualization

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Knowledge of basic SQL or other data query languages is a plus, but not required

The base salary range for this position is: $25.38 to $35.77.
This base salary range represents a general guideline. An individual’s base salary within that range is determined based on a variety of factors, including (without limitation) the scope, complexities, and responsibilities of the position, the government contract to which the position is assigned, geographic location, market conditions, and the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and skills.
