Why You're Vital to Our Mission:
As we enter a phase of significant expansion, we need to transform how Finance partners with the business. This role is central to that transformation — building automated, data-driven processes while ensuring financial accuracy and strategic alignment. You’ll collaborate closely with the CFO, Director of Finance, and cross-functional leaders to unlock efficiencies, identify opportunities, and generate actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to develop strategic, long range financial plans and translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Develop predictive analytics that support revenue forecasting, customer behavior modeling, and operational efficiency.
- Design and implement data pipelines and workflow automations to improve financial processes, efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting through continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial models to analyze business trends and drive strategic initiatives.
- Support the financial planning cycle including the annual budget, forecast updates, and assisting in preparation of the monthly reporting package for executive leadership.
- Manage daily financial inquiries, ad hoc reports, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support key projects.
- Produce business cases and ROI analyses that foster data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2-3+ years of experience in strategic finance, business analytics, or data science supporting strategic, data-driven decision-making.
- Strong data visualization skills (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and comfort working with large datasets.
- Proficiency with SQL and Python, with demonstrated ability in data querying / structuring, workflow automation, and integration across financial systems.
- Understanding of the principles of budgeting, forecasting, and managerial reporting.
- Exposure to financial concepts and models such as the 3-statement financial or operating models, with the ability to collaborate with finance leadership to refine and interpret outputs.
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Data Science, Analytics or progress toward CFA.
- Experience at a high-growth SaaS business.
- Familiarity with financial ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics) and Salesforce.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing advanced AI tools, frameworks, and technologies to solve complex problems, drive innovation, and optimize workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical, precise approach.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
