As a Data Scientist at OTR Solutions, you’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into strategic insights. You'll work with a variety of teams — including Product, Operations, Finance, and Engineering — to solve business problems using advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Design and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support business decisions (e.g., credit risk, fraud detection, customer segmentation).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, build data dashboards, and drive data-informed strategies.
- Present analytical findings and data visualizations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of data infrastructure, pipelines, and best practices for model deployment and monitoring.
- Continuously research and evaluate new data science tools and methodologies to enhance capabilities.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in a data science or advanced analytics role.
- Proficient in Python or R, with solid experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost).
- Strong SQL skills for querying large datasets.
- Experience with dashboarding tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, regression, classification, and clustering techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Experience in fintech, logistics, or transportation industries is a plus but not required.
