About BEES
Join us to build the future of B2B commerce!
BEES is AB InBev’s B2B platform. Through our ecosystem, merchants and retailers across 29 countries can stock their businesses quickly, easily, and securely.
At BEES, we dream big, lead with purpose, and develop technology that transforms the way retailers and sellers grow.
Every line of code and every partnership is built in service of a single mission: to make commerce better for retailers and sellers around the world. Here, your work is not just important. It makes a difference!
About the Role
We are seeking an analytical individual to join our Operational Analytics team. Our mission is to partner with technology teams across BEES to deliver relevant analysis, performance metrics, and process improvements that drive operational efficiency and developer productivity.
This role has evolved beyond traditional BI. You will help embed AI into how we work — from measuring performance to enabling teams with AI-assisted development. You will contribute to bees-ai-pm-os, our company-wide Product Management operating system (strategy context, skills, and AI workflows), and support initiatives that use AI to build and improve micro-frontends.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and operations stakeholders to turn data and AI capabilities into actionable recommendations — not just static reports, but measurable changes to process, tooling, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technology teams to understand operational challenges, define performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop data views, reports, and lightweight (web-based analytics tools).
- Conduct in-depth data analysis using SQL (and Databricks where applicable) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create compelling presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Build business cases for process improvements, tool enhancements, and AI-enabled ways of working.
- Monitor KPIs and provide regular updates on operational and engineering productivity metrics.
- Support the implementation of new processes and tools — including AI assistants, Cursor rules/skills, and Git-based workflows — to improve team efficiency.
- Contribute to bees-ai-pm-os: skills, documentation, and patterns that help PMs and analysts across the company use AI with grounded strategy and product context.
- Partner on AI-assisted development of micro-frontends (Next.js tools in the BEESDEV Portal)— defining requirements, validating outputs, and measuring adoption and impact.
- Stay current with industry trends in data intelligence, developer productivity, and AI-assisted software delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably within software development, operations, or product analytics.
- Solid knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
- Ability to turn data into clear visualizations and narratives — tool-agnostic (SQL, web apps, or BI platforms).
- Daily AI usage in personal or professional life — practical, habitual use of AI assistants for thinking, writing, analysis, or building.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort working in Git(branching, pull requests, code review) and documenting work in Markdown/Confluence.
- Fluent English for written and spoken communication.
- Depth in at least one area: tech (data/ML/engineering), business (product/storytelling), or agile (Kanban/Scrum/Lean).
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Cursor or similar AI-native IDEs for analysis, documentation, and light development.
- Experience with Databricks or similar data engineering platforms.
- Knowledge of Python or R for analysis and automation.
- Experience building or contributing to internal web apps (React, Next.js, TypeScript) —including AI-assisted development.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kanban).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Practical exposure to generative AI beyond chat — prompt design, Cursor skills/rules, MCP integrations.
- Contributions to internal knowledge bases or company-wide AI operating models (e.g. bees-ai-pm-os, BEESDEV tooling).
- Experience defining and tracking engineering or product performance metrics (cycle time, throughput, quality, adoption).
- Familiarity with Power BI, Looker, or similar BI tools (useful but not central to how we work today).
