Business Intelligence Analyst II
Essential Functions:
- Project management of state compliance beginning with gap analysis and closure of operational procedural and process gaps. This includes development of gap assessment plans by state, completion of state-by-state assessments, and gap closure. If gaps are identified, collaborate with Compliance to determine level of risk, and develop remediation plans will be required. Future improvement projects will ensue.
- High risk compliance action requests:
- Manage compliance incidents as they arise, ensuring leadership is consulted and informed.
- Create and oversee a formal change management and document retention process to provide informed decisions aligned with contractual requirements w/ documented decision history.
- Ensure collaboration and drafting/updating of standard operating procedures are completed in a timely manner and reviewed and updated annually.
- Tracking of RegUSA and state licensing expiration dates, renewal paperwork and dealer association endorsement contracts. Partnering with the Cox Licensing team to get paperwork completed and submitted such that licenses gaps do not occur.
- Project management of corrective action requests from internal and external audits.
- Analysis of reports and data required to maintain oversight of adherence to contracts for all in-state platforms.
- Participation in AAMVA and eSTART titling coalition to influence the strategy taken to evolve e-titling over time, implement changes made as a result.
- Report development to support business needs.
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis for problem solving and strategic needs.
- Maintenance & evolution of staffing models for RegUSA and state offices to ensure staffing according to volume including time studies to maintain accuracy.
- Establish a readiness process and drive execution of readiness projects to ensure all new operational or customer facing functionality launches successfully.
- Lead all RFQ/RFP responses related to RegUSA.
- Coordinate large/non-traditional customer onboardings including full documentation of end-to-end workflow.
- Establish and document best practices for cross business unit coordination in registration activities with Manheim.
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve RegUSA processes and execute implementation in coordination with Managers of Operations.
- Partner within the team to build reports that facilitate root cause analysis, problem solving, & process improvement for in-state teams.
Required Skills for Success:
- Project management skills including use of Gantt charts, issues, risks and decisions log, resource allocation, running effective meetings, project updates, etc.
- Must be able to clearly understand the business needs of RegUSA & RTS.
- Must be able to clearly articulate an understanding of the issues and be able to present solutions.
- Must have the ability to work collaboratively across multiple business lines and matrixed organizations to help drive results.
- Must be able to drive to execution agreed upon strategies.
- A commitment to continuous improvement in an ever-changing industry.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years experience; or 6 years experience in a related field
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, analyze complex problems and suggest appropriate solutions, exhibiting good decision quality and strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and written.
- Excellent organizational skills and business insight.
- Proven ability to develop, plan, and implement process improvements.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to schedule and prioritize tasks of team to promote the efficient use of time and monitor progress against schedule.
- Advanced skills with Windows, MS Excel, Word, and Power Point. PowerBI experience
Preferred Qualification:
- Project management experience and expertise including resource planning, Gantt charts, scope documents, and risk analysis and mitigation.
USD 70,700.00 - 106,100.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $70,700.00 - $106,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
