Your Position:
Your Responsibilities
The John Deere Research and Development Center (JDRDC) is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst II to be part of the team. You will work with team members and product development teams to ensure the right data is captured from customer machines. Additionally, you will use analytics techniques to identify actionable insights from engineering and customer data to improve our product design and processes. Your responsibilities will be:
- Work with data team and other stakeholders to define data of interest and implement signals in MTG signal configuration files.
- Collaborate with others to implement signal updates, test changes, and deploy to customer machines.
- Utilize analytics tools to filter, aggregate, and manipulate datasets.
- Communicate data and insights to the organization using appropriate visualization techniques.
What Skills You Need
- Experience in CAN data collection and/or CAN data processing software
- Ability to communicate and collaborate in a global environment
- Previous experience in Data Analytics, Software Development, or Product Engineering
- Understanding of at least one programming language (e.g. R, Python, or SQL)
- Ability to speak English fluently
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience with analytics/big data platforms and/or technologies such as AWS, Databricks, Spark, Scala Knowledge
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI
- Experience with the Sugar Production System
Education
- Complete Undergraduate degree.
