Position Overview
The Business Development Representative will prospect targeted territory accounts to support the productivity of Autodesk’s New Business Account Executives and Territory Sales Representative (TSR) teams. This role focuses on identifying high-potential revenue opportunities by engaging with well-qualified prospects across industries and accounts within Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Demand Generation and account sales teams to build a qualified customer pipeline
Prospect customers using outbound communication technologies to promote Autodesk solutions
Identify target markets and accounts, develop leads, and directly prospect into opportunities
Transition qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales resources
Map key stakeholders, technical requirements, and business processes for all deals
Drive additional revenue opportunities by executing incremental programs or projects initiated by sales management
Manage a database of leads in Salesforce.com, ensuring efficient processing, tracking progress, reporting updates, and maintaining until leads are established in the sales pipeline
Proactively identify key decision-makers within target accounts to discover additional sales opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
2 to 3 years of business development or sales experience
Proven experience in pipeline building and lead generation
Background in software industries with knowledge of SaaS product sales is preferred
Exposure to Manufacturing, Architecture, Building, and Construction industries is advantageous
Strong communication skills
Experience working with ANZ markets
Must reside in Australia and have appropriate authorization to work in Australia
The Ideal Candidate
Demonstrates substantial understanding of the role and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks
Works on assignments that are moderately complex, requiring judgment to resolve issues or provide recommendations
Works independently on daily tasks, with general instructions provided for new assignments
This role includes a base salary of 85,000 - 90,000 AUD, with total on-target earnings (OTE) dependent on performance.
