About the Business Development Representative (BDR) Opportunity

We are currently seeking talented Business Development Representatives (BDR) to join our Sales team. As a BDR at PartySlate, your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. With thousands of untapped prospects, this is an incredible opportunity for entry-level sales candidates to get hands-on experience selling in the events industry and make a huge impact on growing our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule 3–5 appointments daily for our Account Executives to connect with prospective clients.
  • Reach out to leads through outbound cold calls, emails, and social to secure sales appointments.
  • Become a PartySlate product expert, confidently sharing our platform’s value with leads and prospects.
  • Monitor and report progress against daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals, ensuring consistent performance.
  • Utilize the CRM system (Hubspot) for all daily tasks.
  • Provide exceptional sales and customer service to all potential clients.
  • Stay informed about new products, services, pricing, and payment plans, keeping your approach fresh and relevant.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college in business or related field
  • 0-1 years of sales-related work experience
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • “Hunter” mentality - you have a passion for finding ways to generate new business
  • An entrepreneurial spirit - the idea of being an active participant in a growing company must excite you
  • High level of energy, motivation, drive, persistence, initiative and commitment
  • Must be tech-savvy and able to navigate a CRM (Hubspot is a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
