About the Position 

Talroo is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) that will help drive growth by using prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiating the first outreach with potential customers. The goal of this role is to help book meetings and fill the pipelines for the sales team. You get excited about engaging with prospects to better qualify their needs. You can identify high value opportunities and are capable of managing early sales funnel activities. This is a fully remote position.  

This role is open to remote employees in select US States only: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. 

As a Business Development Representative at Talroo, you will:  

  • Leverage creative marketing and sales tactics to prospect and engage with multiple buyer personas and roles to introduce Talroo’s value proposition
  • Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for the Sales organization  
  • Effectively execute outbound prospecting initiatives  
  • Meet or exceed sourced Opportunity volume targets 
  • Collaborate with and leverage teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities 
  • Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop accounts 
  • Work to have a variety of touches (call, email, social, etc.) on all leads in your assigned territory 
  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce 
  • Use various Sales Enablement tools such as Gong, Outreach, LI Navigator, and ZoomInfo to penetrate various accounts, and gain efficiency in prospecting
  • All other duties as needed or assigned to support the business   

What we are looking for in a highly qualified candidate:  

  • 1-2 years in a similar SDR, BDR, or sales role  
  • Experience working in the Tech or HR Industry preferred 
  • 1 year of customer facing experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter who can operate effectively in an enterprise sales environment 
  • Must be fully authorized to permanently work in the US without employer sponsorship

Compensation range: $55k base plus potential commission and bonus
