About the Role


We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Team Lead to join our team covering the EMEA market!


You will work closely with the EMEA BDR team and our EMEA BD Director and more broadly with Sales, Marketing and Partner teams to ensure we build strong opportunities in key target accounts in EMEA.
Your responsibilities will include delivering a small individual target of your own opportunities as well as coaching and supporting the team to deliver high quality opportunities from both inbound & outbound sources. You will also have the opportunity to work on broader EMEA initiatives with the BDR Director, receiving coaching and mentorship to grow into a managerial role.


This is a full time, hybrid position based in our Dublin office.

What You’ll Do


  • Be confident at articulating Fivetran’s value and how we can support prospects to deliver business insights.
  • Deliver a small target of qualified opportunities to AEs.
  • Coach the team and offer day-to-day operational support where needed.
  • Use your knowledge and experience to support the team to qualify inbound leads and generate quality meetings from MQLs.
  • Use your knowledge and experience to support the team to outbound into key accounts to create opportunities for Account Executives.
  • Personalise messaging and craft compelling pitches that resonate with prospects.
  • Apply creativity with outbounding, using innovative approaches that stand out.
  • Utilise the available sales tools to be as effective as possible in their roles.


Skills We’re Looking For

  • English at professional proficiency
  • Intrinsically motivated person who is highly accountable with a 'get stuck in' attitude.
  • Excellent in-person, phone, written, and verbal communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Highly curious with a passion for solving problems.
  • Highly driven and motivated - you'll thrive in an extremely fast paced environment.
  • Able to convey technical principles in a very consultative and conversational way.
  • Comfortable with daily, weekly and monthly calls, email and meeting targets.

Bonus Skills

  • Previous business development experience is preferred.
  • Additional languages are preferred but not required.
