Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Annually grow key/top customer accounts
Lead the expansion of business into new customer accounts
Act as primary contact and representative for the customer
Provide clear, timely, responsiveness and detailed quotations to the assigned customer base. This requires that the Business Development Manager be available at all times, including weekends and after hours, to communicate with customers when required
Work with internal/external customers to clarify and resolve issues
Communicate with customers to manage their delivery priorities
Participate and help price contracts and proposals Participate in requests for proposals (RFPs)
Communicate new assets and promote our MRO divisions
Maintain open two-way communication with customers appropriately sharing both good and bad news in a professional manner
Provide timely quotes
Act on behalf of AerSale Customer Service & Business Development
Assist Sr. Management in development and implementation of field and marketing activities, capture of new business opportunities, and the management of target accounts
Represent company in a professional, innovative, positive, pro-active manner
Work with customers to forecast their upcoming requirements
Utilize price discrimination principles to gauge price/product optimization
Pro-actively obtain market data/pricing
Develop and deliver sales presentations as needed to key and new growth accounts
Cross-selling all AerSale divisions
Education and Experience:
Experience in industry environment focusing on customer relationships, accounting practices, sales and/or marketing
Previous aviation experience including contracts within the industry
Direct experience with accessories and/or structures is highly desirable
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time to develop new business opportunities.
Must be able to multi-task
Must be project oriented with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industry meeting established timeline
Excellent verbal, writing, listening, and interpersonal skills are required to interact with all functional levels of internal and external contacts
Detail orientated and organized
Knowledge of Pentagon and HubSpot is a plus
Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Able and willing to generate various types of reports
Willing to maintain availability via phone/email outside of regular working hours
Strong analytical and decision-making skills with ability to exercise informed risk taking to make judgement calls
Ability to prioritize and to work without close supervision
