General Overview:
We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading insurance brokerage, for the role of Business Development Manager. We are looking for dynamic, customer-focused professionals who are passionate about sales, client engagement, and delivering tailored insurance solutions in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
The role offers strong exposure to both individual and corporate clients, with the opportunity to build expertise in travel insurance products while contributing directly to business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell travel insurance products to individual and corporate clients across multiple channels
- Understand client travel requirements and recommend suitable coverage options based on needs
- Provide clear and accurate guidance on policy features, benefits, exclusions, and claims processes
- Process policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations efficiently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals
- Achieve individual and team sales targets while maintaining high service standards
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory updates
- Handle client inquiries, concerns, and basic claims coordination professionally and promptly
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities within CRM systems
Key Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, preferably within insurance, travel, or a related industry
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in insurance or sales is an advantage
- Strong understanding of travel insurance products and coverage structures is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage client relationships effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and standard computer applications
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset
