Overview
Fusion is searching for a Business Development Manager to join our Business Development team. In this position you will help to increase Fusion’s market share growth by generating new contracts and growing Fusion's direct and MSP job orders by utilizing a variety of leads and creating positive relationships with healthcare clients across the country. You will conduct outreach, nurture relationships, and negotiate contracts to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. You will also play a key role in achieving sales targets and fostering long-term client partnerships.

Essential Functions
- Identify potential new clients by proactively researching and identifying clients that align with Fusion's target market and service offerings
- Cold and warm call to qualify potential targets by conducting outbound calls to qualify leads, understand their needs, and assess their potential as clients
- Close on new clients and generate new Fusion contracts by driving the sales process from lead generation to contract closure, while effectively articulating Fusion's value proposition and securing new business
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services to existing clients across different divisions within Fusion
- Stay updated on market trends by continuously monitoring industry trends, market dynamics, and client needs to anticipate staffing requirements and tailor sales strategies accordingly
- Lead or participate in client conference calls to build relationships, address client concerns, and close contracts
- Utilize internal databases and external sources to identify potential clients and develop targeted prospect lists
- Build and nurture relationships with key client stakeholders to foster trust and loyalty, ultimately driving business growth
- Negotiate with clients to secure favorable contract terms, including bill rates, service levels, and contractual obligations
- Achieve revenue and market share growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets by generating new Fusion contracts and increasing direct job orders from clients
- Keep accurate records of facility data including contact information, lead status, contract details, and sales progress in internal databases

Work Environment
Work environment defined:
Local - position has in-office requirements and would require employee to live in the local area
TRAVEL: Up to 20% travel for trade shows, client visits and on-site presentations.

Position Type/Expected hours worked
This is a full-time position, and standard hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST (flexible start/end times with manager discretion). Regular and punctual attendance is required
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years previous experience in similar role
- 3-5 years previous sales experience
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years previous experience in similar role
- 5-7 years previous sales experience
- History of MSP/VMS sales
- Experience selling MSP's
- Relevant industry experience
